I'm looking to add some swimbaits to my lineup. I would like some feedback on this lure. How should I work it and when do you guys throw swimbaits over bucktails or topwaters.

Thanks,

Brian

That one is mine. You can bring it in slow, fast or even jerk it in as its coming in. Done right the lue will actually spin 180 degrees around and face the following fish. I can do it sometimes but I am not a master like others at gettign this lure to dance. I made this one heavy too so it will fall faster,, about 1 foot per second if you let it sit. Also comes witha free replacment tail so you don't have to buy one for $5+ like some other lures require. Triple split rings, musky hooks, bla bla bla Thanks Brian.

PS-Not that I don't want you to buy mine but you might also look at some of the other musky swimbaits here. A few other real good ones are from Nate's baits, Bikini Baits, etc.

You can't beat the prices on tackle booty baits. And the quality is great.

They work very well. A few guys have done really good with them in tournaments last year. Nice thing about these is you can speed them up during a follow and the bait will surface and the tail will break the water surface and splash waster side to side. Many times with will trigger the fish to strike. You can also twitch there in for a really nice erratic swimming action.

I have them on special right now for $13.99. Normal is $18.99. I am reducing my color selection on them and also getting them into new packaging. Have a few 100 to move before I can introduce them in the new packaging and get them down to about 10 core colors.

I cant say enough good about the Dingo. I use it all the time and have had great results!!! Its the only 1 like it. Has a good sink rate and swims up on the cast. Great shallow water bait. Built strong as hell too. Works as a killer twitch bait like James said.

Dingos rock! I personally drill a hole and glue the noisemakers in place, but certainly not necessary. Pump the reel handle on a follower and the bait spins 180 degrees...staring right back at the fish! They just hate that (or love it, depending on your perspective). Don't do it too frequently - works best when it surprises the fish. Doing it all the time can lull them into not chomping. The beauty of this bait is the huge difference in action between the straight retrieve and the 'pump 180'. No twitch, just a hard pulse with the handle followed by a touch of slack to let it continue 180 degrees. Great bait for my kids too...little resistance and all fish (including pike - note my avatar is a 4 year old using a dingo) seem to approve. Buy several...embarassed to admit how many I have now.

Not sure if the bikini swimbaits ever happened??? Awesome youtube video...tried sending my broken first gen swimbait from them (Jed) back in exchange for a new one...and tried to buy a new one several times. no luck...if anyone has one please let me know!
