Posts: 298 Location: Not where I want to be! | Nothing,it does't have to imitate anything. If it moves in the water column and sounds right, IT'S potentially FOOD! Edited by wavridr 2/11/2012 6:19 AM

What does a bucktail look like? You're thinking in terms of humans and food...it needs to look like what we know we're eating. But in terms of a fish that hunts from vibration and sound as much or more than from sight, and add to that a brain the size of a grape, and strong instinctual drive..."what it looks like" becomes a second or third consideration to the fish.

Posts: 8772 | It's a muskie angler torture device. I'm nervous enough as it is. I don't need to listen to *bloop, bloop, bloop, blip, bloop, bloop* getting closer to the boat. It's like a jack in the box, man. You sit there turning that handle, knowing that at any second that big ugly thing is going to come flying up at you and scare the crap out of you. The only thing missing is that cheesy music. Which, I might add, I often hear in my head when fishing with a creeper...
