Got my new Dominatrix double 8 bucktails ready to ship. 21 colors and $13.99. I will also have these at the upcoming shows if you want to take a look. I also just packed up 42 for the Operation musky auctions and the Milwaukee swap so if you will be at one of the O.M. events you can also bid up a few and help give some Veterans a big thank you with your donations.

Thanks,
James

You can also use the below to give your plastisol swimbaits a UV coating. Very similar results if you want to add UV to your SuperDs.

Look great. Are you going to have anything at the butler fishing show?

How about some objective reports from guys who are using this double 8?

I like the price at 13.99 but its hard to not throw what's worked in the past even if they are over 20.00 bucks,

I noticed they are 3 oz heavier than the original DCG I throw now--how does that affect anything?

3 oz heavier? The weight on the double 8s is 2.6oz.

As for double 8s vs double 10s I will let others chime in for their success using dbl8s vs dbl 10s...

im not a huge bucktail user but I have made a bunch and theyre identical to DCG...to me a double 8 is a double 8 is a double 8, and a double 10 is a double 10 is a double 10. as long as theyre made well I dont think there is much difference (other than price) at all between these baits.

James will you have these available in "standard" colors too..?

( black/orange, black/silver, etc..)

Ronix,
Hold a double Cowgirl in one hand hold a Spanky in the other there is a huge difference. (Spanky uses heavier blades and wire)
Both are great bucktails I use both but they are made way different and are two different tools to use.
So all double 10's are not the same.

Dominatrix is 3 ounces heavier than the JR. Double Cowgirls I have been using in the past.

My desire would be to have someone who has used both lures to give feedback about a direct comparison between the JR Cowgirl at 2.3 oz and the Dominatrix at 2.6 oz.

Funny what is clear in our own heads is confusing to someone else...Sorry about that

--For whatever its worth---I am all for buying cheaper baits if they work as well as the more expensive ones.

Musky Brian, For right now I will just have them in my 21 stock colors.

Storm Strike, No problem. I just missed the 0.3 oz. My double 10s are slightly heavier because I use thicker brass blades. I used to use the 040 but they did not open well so I move to 032 and those open up immediately. The smaller double 8s have 024 blades on them.
