The bait looks like most of the gliders out there.Solarfall, dont be so proud of yourself (good advice in life). Your baits look like copies of other high end guys too. I would say that it looks most like an orginal "The Natural". WAAY before your time . Don't bash or make comments like that if you dont know your bait history. The bait looks great! It will even better chewed

Posts: 79 Location: West Virginia | Thanks for the compliments guys. i think the reason alot of glides have this similar shape is due to the action it has. I make about 3 different designs of glide baits and overall this one is the easiest to use. Shape of the lure isnt the only thing that needs concern. Type of wood (density) and weight quantity and placement play the major roles. Looks as though you guys may know about lure making so Im probly just preaching to the choir here lol. Anyway, again thanks for the compliments.

Posts: 556 | Almost all the NEW and original lures I see are actually similar to others either currently being made or older designs. I mean really how many crankbait or glidebait designs can be made---they are almost all similar in some ways. But I have to say all the baits / designs / and paints schemes I see on here are very nice and everyone should be proud of their work. I will post some of the ones we have been making some time. All cranks as of right now but we have been working on some glider designs as well--still messing with the weighting of them before we prep them for paint. Made about 30 cranks so far this winter and have another 30-40 bodies made up future baits. It has been alot of fun as this is our first attempt at actually making our own lures--had a few ups and downs but we have a couple designs that are up and working well.
