Here is a chopper style tailbait i did for a buddy in 09' that he wanted re painted. It is 3.75" long for bass and i think it would work well for esox as well. Needs clear and then i can put it back together .....what do ya think

Looks great.

What is that clap/vise thing called that you are using to hold the bait? Solarfall uses the same thing in his videos & I wanted to know the name of it so I can get me a couple of them.

It's called Helping Hand and Harbor Freight sells them for $3-4.

Topwater looks sweet and for sure will get eaten by muskies as well. I'm thinking the cisco topper is similar in size.

You can also get those clamp/vises at menards. So Matt, what will you clear coat it with? ETex can be touchy with small top water lures....

I used urethane last time i painted it and it held up ok but i was thinking i might try a thin coat of etex. I will decide that tonight

Yup...i went with a thin coat of etex. The bait is 3 7/8" without the rear hook. Thanks for the compliments guys
