I'm not sure if I've ever seen this topic on here before, so here goes. I will be getting my new replica delivered in time for Christmas. I'll be moving around a couple of other mounts and wondered what was the best way to dust and any other housekeeping tips for my current mounts.

Thanks

Wet a paper towl slightly and wipe the dust off. If you left excess water behind follow with a dry paper towl.

With your repo you should get a paper with cleaning instructions, I got one when i recieved my repo

No cleaners/chemicals, and nothing abrasive.
I wipe mine with a micofibre cloth - the same as you might use on a camera lens or LCD tv - and that's it.

What about UV light? Any issues with hanging your mount near a window and having the colors fade?

I've always just used a paint brush to dust off my mounts. Never really thought about actually cleaning them with anything.

I use the spray you get for cleaning computer keyboards.

From the thread title, I was deathly afraid that this was going to end up like the "Leg Lamp" incident on Cleveland St...

Never know, Sorno. The fragile "major award " hasn't been put up yet!

Outline that sucker with some Glowin Outdoors tape so it stands out when the lights are off.
