Wow! I love seeing those big Euro pike. Thanks for posting the pictures. Truly an awesome fish. Loved the story and congratulations on catching a real giant.

I dont think you just caught your first 40lber, that could well be a 50lber! With those proportions i have no doubt that the fish is around 50lb!
There was a pike caught last spring in Lake Vättern in Sweden, it was 18,78kg (41,4lb) and 125cm (49,2").
