| Has anyone used the new slingblade with the trigger angled back? I broke mine a couple of days ago and they will only replace it with the new model. If you have used it, how do you like it? Anyone know why they changed it?
Thanks

| I was a little confused at first with the new sloped trigger, but you get used to it pretty quickly. I liked the older models because of the trigger, but there isn't much of a difference. I palm the reel most of the time and it hasn't been a problem. |

| Yes, I have one and it took one trip to get used to ........... I love it now . I have a Revo on it and it makes palming a bit more comfy and easier . |

| personally, i think triggers on any baitcasting rod are totally useless and uncomfortable. years ago i took an old trigger rod i had and simply used a cutting wheel bit on a dremel tool and hacked it off flush as close as i could then smoothed it out till there was nothing left but a small nub. tried it on the water and was amazed at the difference it made. so much more comfortable and much easier to slide your hand back and forth from palming the reel to holding onto the fore-grip if you choose...then did it to every rod i own... |

Location: Smith Creek | That is the point of the Fuji Palm Support reel seat. Cups your hand when you're palming the reel and really doesn't get in the way when you hold the fore-grip. I'm like you, I do both. Fore grip holder won't notice a difference, guys who palm the reel will love it. |
