| Boy its hard for me to type in October.......Where did the season go?
Being gone for a week on Cass Lake has put my yard work in array. Might get out...might not....only the wife knows that answer.[;)] [:p] |

| Looking forward to a long overdue family vacation to California for the next couple of weeks,
Spending a few days fishing out of San Diego and just relaxing on the beach.

| Going up to my land. Still don't know what I'm going to do. Too warm and buggy to hunt. Becky and Taylor said that they won't eat any venison if I shoot a deer anyway. Maybe I'll be taking a walk with the realtor and put it up for sale and say the hell with deer hunting and JUST FISH IT!!!
One thing is certain. I turn 40 freakin'7 on Friday!!!!!!!!!! The hell with October, where did my life go?????
Watch the 'for sale' section in the ad section if you're looking for tree stands etc. It could all be there on Monday[:blackeye:]

| I will be taking Steve Hulbert and his dad for a 4 day weekend drive along the big O. [:p] |

| There is much debate as to where we will fish this weekend. I want to hit the well again and my dad wants to fish another new lake. We did that last weekend and failed to catch a musky. We did get a 36' pike though. |

| Work, work and work.
My weekend off this month isn't until the 23rd and 24th. And, unfortunately, my PT job is booked solid. If I have days off during the week, he has work for me to do.

| Hitting a west metro lake that should have turned on good with this cooler weather. Hopefully I can nail one after getting blanked on Cass last week!

| I will be on the water all day Fri, Sat, and Sun. I have to guide all 3 days. I can't wait.
On Sat, and Sun, most of the local Rhinelander guides will be guiding a huge group. Every year there are a lot of fish caught over the 2 days, usually around 50, at least 75% of them are caught on suckers with quick strike rigs.
So I guess the weekend plan will be suckers with quick strike rigs, hopefully catch a few muskies. Then Sat. night the guides cook a shoresupper for all of the clients, then on Sun night there is a huge awards dinner, you can order off of the menu and add up to 3 lobster tails with any order!!!
Should be a fun weekend.

| I am heading down to Cave Run this weekend.
The Cave has been hot with at least 4 50 inchers caught in the last week or so.
Me and Tony G. should have a good time, looking forward to beating the water.

| hit lake for a club outing. Try to raise some $$$ to buy some more muskies in November for another stocking. Warmer temps may have pushed the fish a few feet back out, so i guess do some searching early and try to hook something up on saturday. Got some new lures, again, ready to try out. Plus, i'm super excited about a bait i'm getting on Friday...(wink wink if Mr. Whoever reads this) then sunday, just take my prostaff (my 5 year old son, ha ha)out and let him reel in suckers for 1/2 day. I like to set my suckers up sometimes and put out about all the line on the reel and let me son jerk, pop, twist, and fight the booger back to the boat[;)]
Hopefully, just raise some more money to grow our fishable musky lakes to meet the demand of the growing sport here in my neck of the woods.[:praise:] i do hope everyone hooks into her this weekend. GOOD LUCK.

Have 2 guys talking over the land deal right now. If they buy the land, the stands stay right in the trees where they are because they'll be hunting it this year. If they don't buy it, all the stands will be coming home with me.....then going to Rhinelander it sounds like.
Could even be a brand new Remington Model 700 youth rifle in .243 going on the market.

| Friday afternoon I will have rain drenched wet Clients casting big safety pin spinnerbaits thru winds of 30 mph, as long as Thor The Thunder & Lightening God stays away!Saturday I'll take them for wave rollercoaster trolling on Lake Erie!
