I've got an 04 Tracker Targa 185 with what I think is rack and pionion steering. I've always kept the fitting near the motor lubed, it's progressivley gotten harder and harder to turn the steering wheel. I can't find any fittings under the console to lube, it turns with "Effort" (about twice as hard as the power steering on my truck). Any suggestions before I take it in for service?

Thanks, Rob

Hi Rob,

I would bet it is time to replace your steering cables.

Yep,

Its your steering cable, nothing you can do to it but replace it.
