| I was out on Rock Lake tonight, doing my second all time favorite thing to do: Bass fishing, and smoked a PIG. The fish were in 15 to 18, and I had caught a bunch od 2 to 3# scrappers, when the line hopped as the big girl ate my jig and creature offering, and off she went---
Turned out to be 23" and about 6.75#, big by Wisconsin standards! Was almost as cool as catching a big Muskie, but not quite. Maybe during the Hodag....[:0] [:0] [:0] |

| Mr. Worrall, I for one will be very supportive of you to catch as many 23"ers as you want during the Hodag. That would be one less Superstar to have to worry about! |

| Hey was that a largey or a smallie?? My buddy lives on the lake and since I live in Cottage Grove I fish it once in a while for the monster gills or for smallies/largemouth. There are some MONSTER smallies in there...just very difficult to catch!
Congrats on the fatty....especially if it was a bronzeback(my favorite...other than muskie)!

I don't know the lake as I'm from Eau Claire but I can tell you that a guy at work has been killin the smallies with a Lil' Hawg Wobbler.
Terry Moulton gave me one earlier this year and I used it this spring and tore them up. I give it to the guy at work that lives for smallie fishing and he now owns one in every color.
As you know "Wobblers" are meant to be cranked slow but if you crank the little ones a tad quicker they have increadable action under water. You still work them fairly slow but seems they can't resist that wobble and clicking.
Just and idea.... it may help you to wake the big girls up..
