Well we had a great group of guys that headed up to visit Herbie at Andy Myers resort Sept 3-10.

The week prior it was flat hot and calm and VERY tough conditions. However, Saturday morning came and we had to wait at the docks till 10 am before the lighten pasted. (First spot I was blessed with making 7 casts before catching a 50! within sight of camp). Storms and clouds were present for the next two days and offered some very good fishing with mutiple fish hooked, caught or lost.

Come Monday through Friday however it went flat calm and hot.... and made things very challenging. Fish were being spotted and a few shots were seen everyday with a few fish hitting nets. Walleye fishing filled in some of the time for some folks (includng myself and partner).

I am pretty sure every boat in our outing saw some big fish, including a couple supertakers spotted.

Herbies guides and staff didn't dissapoint again offering us top notch service and advise on fishing.

Herbie will be offering us again next year a great deal, if your interested let me know, you will be welcome to join us even if your not a club member! (we had many non-members this year).

I have attached a few of the pictures I have gotten from folks so far.

Great going Cory and group. I always loved the way AML is able to get you onto fish from day one.

Great job to you and your group Cory.

I feel partially responsible for some of your good fishing early in the week, because I was there the week before and I think we had those fish whipped into a frenzy for you

My cabin got a couple fish, but not a 50 on the 7th cast (unreal) - Great job sir !!!

What happ. to that 50's gill plate? Did the net cut it? I had this happ recently, and may change bags because i don't want to risk it happening again and actually cut through gills. Luckily it was only the plate for me.

Actually I never noticed the gill issue while I was handling the fish. I think it was an old wound.
