This weekend out on Pewaukee there is the 5th Annual 2 Charlies Musky tournament.
I talked to John and Loie at Smokey's this morning and there still are a few open spots available. The cost is $45.00 per team with 50% of the money will be awarded as prizes and the other 50% will be donated to the Milwaukee Chapter of Muskies Inc. to help in lake stocking and the Pewaukee Study. Your entrance fee also includes a dinner after the tournament. So if you need something to do this weekend, Give Smokey's a call at (262)-691-9659

The lake might get a little crowded this Saturday, John!

The lake won't be crowded from this tournament, there are only 30 boats involved. See you out there.[:sun:] ....

Perfect Conditions! East wind, bluebird skies, day after a cold front! The last I had heard, only one legal was caught
by 60 fishermen (and fisherwomen). I took my Dad out. We had two follows. The high point of the day was my Dad catching a 22 1/2", 6 lb. largemouth bass, the biggest fish he has ever caught by probably 4 pounds! What a Kodak Moment!!![] [:sun:] []

Steve / Bill: Did't get out at all, on the way to the lake the brakes on my truck suddenly decided they did not want to work any more fortunatly I was only about 1 mile from a freinds house who came and got my boat and the Midas Muffler & Brake shop was about 1 block away by the time they got my truck in working order again it was past 11:00 so I just got my boat and went home fishless and $400.00 poorer but what really ticks me off is that the truck only has 40K miles and needed new brakes without any warning, oh well next weekend I'll try again

There were 4 legals caught, plus one BIG Bass which didn't have a standing in a muskie tournament.
Thanks to all the entrants, especially to the John Laimon's Smokey's
Baitshop gang and to the "Mr. Microphone" master of ceremonies, Wizzy for all their work to help out the Milwaukee Chapter of Muskies Inc. with the donations through this tournament! Thanks to all!![:sun:] []
