I haven't used the gold but use their pearls all the time without any issues. I use it mixed with other brands to add a pearl sheen still no problems. Bad tube of paint maybe?

Never had any issues with Createx and I use gold all of the time. Something else is the culprit. Do you apply the Etex with a brush? Was the brush somehow contaminated?

I haven't had problems with it, however, I read somewhere that gold pearl takes longer to dry than other colors, for whatever reason. Perhaps it was still a tad wet when you epoxied the bait.

I've never had a problem with any Createx colors and E-tex.
