Posts: 267 Location: Right behind you (tap, tap) BOOO | Website looks good... I have to ask about the 8.95 S/H fees - that would make it tough for me to place an order.

Posts: 416 Location: Madtown, WI | Website looks really good! Very pleasing to the eyes, looks very professional! Some constructive criticism: Would be nice if your lure pictures were slightly larger, just 25-50% larger maybe. Didn't like having to click on every picture to get a better look. Also, what esox23 said. At first I was like, awesome prices on pre-tied flashabou! Then I was like, I'm never going to buy from this guy.... $9 s&h for something that costs less than a buck to ship? How much does it really cost to ship a bait? I got one in the mail today for $2.88.

Posts: 255 | Nice site. The Cabbage Ghost lure pics should all be the same size even though the lures are different sizes. It is more pleasing to the eye. Go more in depth about what you get with your guided trip. I agree shipping is a little high. $4.95 is fair. Good luck. The overall design and layout look good.

Posts: 243 | Thanks guys, appreciate the suggestions---have put a lot of time into it. I believe we were planning to overnight everything, but will take another look at shipping costs. That is the type of feedback I was looking for.

Definitely consider priority mail. That gets you down to $5.00 or so and as many as you can pack in a box, plus they give you the nice boxes for free! Saves you money when you start moving some merchandise. Also, people love free shipping. Consider maybe free shipping over $50 or 4 or 5 baits. Sometimes that pushes someone to throw another one in the cart to hit the limit as they would rather spend it on baits than shipping. I know that it does for me.

Posts: 1060 Location: Palm Coast, FL | Not everyone likes using paypal. Look at getting an authorize.net account to accept cc's through your website. It is a little more costly but again not all people like using paypal. I am getting a website completed for me right now and am going through the same thing.

Posts: 243 | Website is LIVE and we researched our shipping options and have reduced those rates significantly. I think they're as reasonable as you'll find. Orders are now coming in. Will soon have some apparel available with our logos on t-shirts/sweatshirts and hats. They look awesome....in my opinion anyway. Thanks again for all the feedback and suggestions, fellas! http://badwaterbaits.com/ Edited by IM Musky Time 8/15/2011 6:11 PM

Posts: 225 Location: Nordeast Minneapolis | Website looks great! I even checked it in really old browsers (something that drives me NUTS when doing web work) and it looks like it worked across the board. So cheers to that! I'd love to see video sometime of your 'Cabbage Ghost' in action! When I first looked at it, I thought 'crankbait with a weird lip', but after reading a bit, it sounds like it does something else entirely...which I'd love to see. Just my .02... if you happen to find yourself near a swimming pool with a camera and your gear. But that's really being demanding. It all looks great.

Posts: 16632 Location: The desert | The musky logo looks like a sock puppet. Perhaps that was your intention. Edited by Pointerpride102 8/17/2011 4:36 PM

Posts: 243 | We do plan to get some demo videos up soon with baits and hooking up the sucker rigs. Thanks for the positive comments guys, we've spent a lot of time on it. Haven't heard a sock puppet reference until now Mike, but I think they're making a comeback anyway. If that's the case, it was absolutely our intention ![]()
