Location: SE Wisconsin | Lot's of small-ish fish... Smaller lake with nothing real dynamic about it. IMO, it's about the most boring musky lake in Wisconsin, but that's my biased opinion. I suppose if it's action you're looking for, this would be a safe bet for you.

Posts: 57 Location: LENA IL | no need for spots as you will be able to hit the entire lake for sure. Small fish but you should see plenty of them to keep you on point.

Posts: 78 | There is a charge to launch your boat, i think its around $7.00. But yes mostly small fish in the 30-36 inch range. Smaller bucktails and cranks should do the trick. As far as colors go i have caught them on everything from natural to loud gaudy colors. You can cover the entire lake in about 3-4 hours. As far as boat traffic you will probably not be the only boat on the lake, but as least you should not have to worry about skiers and jetski's.

Posts: 189 Location: West Bend, WI | This lake gets pounded to death. Lots of followers. There are a ton of jet skies and skiers here. Almost got hit by a skier here once. The lake is all weeds, just work the edges and you'll find some. There are a lot better lakes in the area.

Despite the high water temperatures, people are still fishing this lake for muskies. Perhaps the high pressure and high water temps are attributing to the many deaths of muskies on this water lately? I think so myself, but I cannot say with certainty that the build up of lactic acid is the cause of death to those muskies.

Posts: 20216 Location: oswego, il | Seeing temps.as high as 78 on vermillion I can imagine this fairly shallow lake is well over 80 degrees right now.

Posts: 743 | People still fish it for muskies? I haven't been there in years. Never go on a weekend. It used to be a good action lake . I don't know what it's like anymore but it used to have big largemouths and and would catch an occasional walleye while bass/musky fishing. All walleyes were in the mid 20 inch range.
