I'm taking the girlfriend camping this weekend and suckers are a must as she gets tired. With the hot temps, I'm worried they'll die on me.

I was thinking i could bring a mesh style minnow bait buckets and sink it over night. Also thinking i could bring a bunch of ice packs to throw in the live well over night.

Looking for any tips you guys may have. She is 0 for 30hrs and I need her to bag one soon...

They will die on you unless you have them in an amazingly chilled and flitrated bucket. But, once you put them in the water, they will die on you.

I`ve had fish hit dead suckers when it was windy and the boat had a faster drift going,also I would only be using one treble with the hook barely under its skin(don`t get too much meat)and would have it deep where the waters most likely cooler.
