I think they're less than six inches long. A lot smaller than the std ones. I would love to get my hands on some for pike fishing next spring. Anyone know where to source these or got any kickin around they would swap for or sell? They look like they'd be a dynamite bait for pike and muskies early in the yr. Thanks.

I've never heard of these. Does anyone have pictures of one and info on where to get them? Thanks.

The only place I've seen them is on ebay once in a while.

They were discontinued almost as quickly as they were introduced (about 3 years ago, give or take). They were never in very many stores.

I have one I'd be willing to sell.  Only 2 years old and I rarely used this particular one.  Crappie pattern.  $15.00 plus buyer pays shipping.  PayPal as Gift only.  Email me if you want pictures or add'l information.

Musky Innovations had them at the shows this year in their closeout bins. I think they were selling for $1.99 and if I remember right, there were 2 in a pack. I would contact MI directly and see if they have any left.

I remember looking at them and they seemed small even for a spring time musky lure. I think they were around 4".

I wouldn't waste your money. Bought them when they first came out and stopped using them. They aren't even close to having the same action as the regular size. They come in like a stick!

Found them in England:

http://www.sovereignsuperbaits.co.uk/Lures/Specialist/Lipped_Softbaits/lipped_softbaits.html#SmallShallowInvader

 From description:

Small Shallow Invader is the little brother of the Shallow Invader; Unlike its larger brother this lure has a brilliant wiggling action, not only is the soft plastic tail scaled down to fit but the company who now make everything for Brad at Musky Innovations have made the tail out of much softer plastic, therefore giving it a way better action than its big brother.

Sent them email about shipping cost to US. Below is the reply:

In their packaging they weigh 67gms each.
1  would cost £ 8.50 to post
5  would cost £ 12.50 to post
10 would cost £16.50

Today the dollar/pound exchange rate is $1.65783/£1 but this changes buy the minuet.

Thanks for all the input guys. Sounds like they're hard to find for a reason, maybe a one-off/experiment type of thing. It's that wide thump and tail whipping that makes those lures what they are and unless the little ones have that, they wouldn't be as good I wouldn't think.

Not the same action as the bigger brother, but still works as a jerkbait. My largest walleye came from using one of those at 28" and 8 1/2lbs out of Missouri waters..

Tried them for pike quite a bit the last few years because I got a few on sale. Don't waste your time with them. Very little action compared to the regular shallow invader.
