Location: Nielsen's Fly-In Lodge, on Rowan Lake | During the heat the fishing slowed down not making contact we went from low 80's surface temps back down to low 70's and the big girls showed up just like that weed line right now is 12-14 ft fish are showing up on the outside edge. All the other species of fish have still been going strong despite the heat.Just a quick report from Rowan Lake stay tuned Thanks for checking it out later Don |

| Hey Don and Lynn----just got back from our second week up North and are in the process of getting geared up for our trip to Rowan. We encountered some of that "Northern Heat" during our stay-----still managed 2--48's and a 48.25----of course I lost a MONSTER the night of the Big BLOW thunderstorm-------had her on at boatside and 4 headshakes later she was a memory---that's musky fishin'. Don---I will give you a call about a week before we arrive---i think you said around 7pm is the best time to reach you---please let me know if that has changed. Our group boated 19 muskies in our two weeks so far----so Rowan has her work cut out for her--haha! All kidding aside, we are completely stoked to be coming up---can't wait to see you guys.
