| Hi,
I'm looking for a little information on West Okoboji guys. I have never fishes Iowa's waters and I have a weeks reservation booked at Triggs resort in mid August. Can anyone fill me in on where I should start looking to bang a Muskie? Being a Muskie fisherman in Missouri any help would be greatly appreciated. I couldn't find allot of forum information on W/O so I thought I would start here. Also, does the W/O have Tigers in it as well? I think the patterns on Tigers make them a beautiful fish and would love to catch one of them. Looking at the base map on my Lowrance and saw allot of rock on the S/W portion of the lake and across the bay as you come out of Triggs? Any help on structures or locations would be great, I'm really looking forward to it and hope to come home with a big smile on my face.
Thanks.

| A correction on where the Triggs resort is, it's on East Okoboji. Looking on Google maps It looked like it was on the West lake. So coming from the East lake into the West I would like to concentrate on the 4 South bays of Millers, Emersons, Smith and Browns. Surely Iowaonians have to read this board?
Thanks in advance,

Location: Iowa Great Lakes | All good choices and yes West has a few tigers in it but not many. Jerkbaits, blades and bulldawgs will show you fish. Depending when your here I may have time to meet up with you during your visit. |
