Subject: Reel to burn small bucktails

I am looking for a reel to burn small bucktails. It has to have an automatic engage feature and a levelwind. I like the power of a Trinidad but it will be too difficult for the person that will be using it. Any suggestions? I am sorry if this has been explored before just couldnt find it.

curado 300 ... is pretty good for small lures ...really any bass reel will handle small bucktails.. most have 12 pounds of drag or more and is enough to handle a 50 inch musky

I second the Curado great reliable reel, also Revo Toro HS. Both are easy to use and comfortable to throw.

For small bucktails like bluefox, mepps, rabid squirrels, lungen inlines ect. the Curado EJ300 is tough to beat. Low profile, auto engage, power handle and FAST gear ratio. It does not have a lot of power, but it is easy to keep up high speeds with small baits all day long.
