 | I will be on Pewaukee for what is now looking to be the last weekend below (at?) 80 degree water temps. I had 79 yesterday in the shallow areas on the console and 75-76 on the universal sonar at the bottom of the trolling motor in the deeper areas.....so I am thinking that tommorow, by the time I leave the lake, my 80 degree limit for musky fishing will be reached. Not trying to be a judge of what others do (it's your business) but 80 degree plus for me means the bigger fish I am hoping to bother for just a little while, end up getting bothered more than what I intend for them. Naturally, I won't be giving up my home and favorite water for any longer than it takes the days to get shorter and the water to get colder. Marty |

 | Pelican and a couple other typical Oneida/Langlade/Forest County lakes. The mayflies were pretty extreme on Pelican last night. I don't think that helped our walleye efforts at all. Looks like some good musky weather the rest of the weekend though. |
