I'm looking for some cheap reels to throw on some catfish setups. I don't want to spend alot on them as they will get used to throw out set for an hour and reel back. Number of bearings isn't an issue. I would like to find abu 6500c3's, abu 7000's, okuma induron or chromer 400's, old penns, basically anything that still functions good, and has some power. I don't care too much about the cosmetic issues. I prefer something levelwind unless its an old penn. Thanks and let me know what you have.

I found 2 reels thanks to musky jerry, still looking for one more reel, since the 6500 he had was the 6.3 and ended up on my small bucktail burner rod. At this point just looking for an induron, akeena, 6500 c3, 7000, diawa 300 or 400, penn 400, tica caiman, shimano calcutta that is beat up, possibly even a cardiff. As I was saying just something that is around the 400 size, has some power, and casts good. lol for some reason my penn 4/0 seems to be a drop it over the side of the boat reel for the big cat waters. It won't cast more than about 20 yards with 3 ozs of bluegill and weights on the end, but if the boat winch fails, i'll be ok.

I have a brand new C3 that's only been used once. I will sell it for $85. It's spooled with brand new power pro #80. Let me know.

Thanks
