Posts: 9 | I used to think I knew a lot of musky fishermen until the internet era. Who doesn't love those "the one that got away" stories and sharing fishing experiences, debating over the best lure, best anything(you get my drift!) New guys and old lunge addicts alike - What kind of musky items have you come up with over the years? I don't want to buy anything and advise against any money talk because this will be a good read for me as you post away! Share your musky memorabilia and anything else lunge that doesn't hit the lake with you Edited by GetLunged 7/6/2011 1:38 PM

Posts: 144 Location: Loves Park, IL | Wow, that's an easy one. I've got a ton of "musky" stuff I've collected over the years. A couple favorites listed below: Every Musky Hunter Magazine since they started. Tony Rizzo's "All Pro Musky Guide" book signed by all 17 guides from each chapter that were interviewed (some are gone now unfortunately. Great guys to talk to). Numerous mugs/steins with muskies on them. Numerous old books. Another favorite is "Louis No. 1" about Louis St Germain (old indian guide) who was a friend of the family and had a chance to fish with him a few times. My dad's custom fishing rod he won while on the Muskies, Inc Chapter Challunge on LOTW in 1982. Hand carved musky plaque for third place in the St Germain Musky Tournament. Gary Don Frank (Sportsmen's Challet) carved them for the tournament when it first started. I've got a lot of stuff from the first few years of the tournament. They used to give out "Muskies For Tomorrow" patches for fish caught. Every Musky Hunter collectible lure. The two yellow aluminum reflective street signs that Musky Hunter made/sold from the magazine early on. One with a musky on it and another with a fisherman setting the hook on it. I could go on and on. I love this stuff. Each piece has a spot in time that goes with it. Priceless. Jeff

Posts: 32935 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Me too. Framed pictures, collected lures and items, trophies from long past events, even muskie salt and pepper shakers. Stupid fish. I could'a been a stock broker or sumpin.
