| I am looking for a reel that handle large double bladed bucktails with ease and comfort. I was thinking the Garcia Revo Toro Winch 60 Righthanded with 4:2:1 ratio. Has anyone used this for cowgirls? Can you your burn them with comfort?
Has recommendations would be appreciated.

You would not be able to burn them with a winch, but you will be able to use it all day for cranking DC10s. If you want something to burn 10s with get yourself a saltwater reel with big gears. I doubt if the majority of us could burn 10s all day even with a saltwater reel. |

| Rick, this question has been asked alot and some folks take exception to that. You can do a search but sometimes I have read for what seems hours and still have questions. I have been researching this topic quite a bit and from what I have learned for burning big buctails the Daiwa Saltis may be the ticket. The question I have about the Saltis is will it wear you out like burning bucktails with a 6500C3? |

| "all day" of burning 10s with a saltist will wear you out, but I definitely last longer using this reel. Burning is a relative term.
The thing I find almost more fatiguing than the cranking itself is the hand/wrist fatigue associated with holding either the foregrip or the reel, when cranking in 10s. I gotta learn to relax my grip. |

The Toro Winch with 4.6:1 gears is one of the best reels for reeling in DCG10-13, the reel only weighs a little over 10oz and is low profile so U can palm the reel all day and your hand will not be in pain at the end of the day.
As far as Burning a DCG 10-13 make sure the lakes U fish the muskies want DCG 10-13 Burned, and if they do how many times a year do they want them at warp speed, so ask a guide about what works in the lakes U fish.
I have a Shimano Trinidad 16NA for burning, and I use that setup maybe 20-30%
for the year, I know Okuma has 2 reels for buring, one $129.99 and the other $229.00 not sure about them but the price works.
