| First I need to thank Musky Treats for putting me on this fish during the Musky First Tonka Outing today.
After we spent the morning catching some northerns I was able to boat this 35.5" fish, which is now my new personal best.
We also raised one other fish in which we just could get to take anything. Also saw another boat put a mid 30's fish in the boat. They had a small net,so we pulled over and helped them out a bit. Unfortunately we had just made a pass over the spot they caught the fish. And they weren't even fishing muskies. Just makes you laugh.

| Way to go Andy!
Wish I could have hooked up with you guys.
I got out @ 9 and left at noon....Boated a 34 and 37 today! Had 2 other blow ups, one was a mid 40 fish too!
Where did you concentrate on your efforts today?
I got mine in Robinsons's Bay.

| Awesome Andy!
Locke Point - I went their about noon. Couple Pike was all.
Did you concentrate around and inside the bouy their or on the shoreline? |

| Treats guided us from the top of the point and down along the East side of the point. I think I hooked that one about half way in between the buoy and the shoreline. How about your fish? I would like to hit Robinson Bay sometime. Not sure if I will be able to make it up there again this year or not. |

| Shallow, shallow, shallow...Got em both on Crane baits as they hit the water. It was like they were ready for it so I must have been casting in the right spot? Luck is involved there as well.
I tried Locke around 11:30-12:00, must have just missed you guys. Managed 2 really nice pike, but no Ski's. Tried bucktails, spinners, Crane's, but no luck... The wind was really kicking up at that time but no luck, so I had to head home.
Was out yesterday and had a huge fish on (no idea how big as it shook out my crane bait when it came flying out of the water). Should have seen me throw the biggest fit! I remember what Treats said, keep the rod tip down when they do that. I did and she still threw out the bait. That was the only activity yesterday.
Congrats again!

| Andy,
Was just going thru some of my tackle and all the different colors and baits that we all have.
While I know some people will fight for the color thing, I am not really a color guy. For ex: You caught your fish on yellow/orange.....On Tonka, the fish just don't care what color you throw. I have caught fish on all different colors and I love to break the rules as far as what I throw.
I learned a long time ago, throw something different or wild looking...It has paid off...There are times when you need to go with a proper presentation, and they have their place.
