For those who have or used a Penn 975 reel, how did you like them? Pros/cons, any help appreciated! Thanks

i have used them...a lot...at 1 time I had 3...imo a better option right now is a toro winch w a TE power handle...easier to palm and casts better...same low gear ratio...go w the winch imho

Great reel, very dependable. It isn't the smoothest reel I own, but it is really nice. Plenty of torque, not much speed. For the money I'd buy a Toro Winch, too. It's just a better reel.
