Posts: 1207 Location: Pigeon Forge TN. | This is the plain Jane I was playing with just based in with no additional color added as yet. Hope it shows well as I'm not the best camera man. Attachments ---------------- S-1.jpg (55KB - 189 downloads) S-2.jpg (66KB - 193 downloads)

I know of another bait with some nice curves to help light it up… Edited by MRichardson 5/11/2011 9:29 AM

Posts: 2753 Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Stan - Me too! That thing looks awesome as is, I can't wait to see what you come up with to make it any better. PS - still sorting lures for repaint - definitely gotta have that on a few. Fishing the Petenwell Musky Challenge this coming weekend - will definitely be running some of your custom's. I think "stump knocker" will be a payout lure. Have fun! Al

Posts: 1207 Location: Pigeon Forge TN. | Hey Al, That Stump Knocker always did do well for you. Mean while since I couldn't stand it any more and just had to play a bit more on a good lure, These pictures will show the results of what I'm working on a lot better. Also, the different colors you are seeing is what this base coat does as it has no specific color of its own and I didn't put any color to it yet. so the the bottom pic has five colors showing. It's totally wild. Edited by Stan Durst 1 5/11/2011 2:01 PM Attachments ---------------- S4.jpg (58KB - 173 downloads) S5.jpg (55KB - 202 downloads) S6.jpg (53KB - 195 downloads)

Looks Awesome!! Hey Stan, I think I brain farted… I’m going to get a quote on having some of my baits vacuum metalized in silver and gold chrome and then have you put that prism coat on top of it – VERY SHINEY !!! The Polaks will love it! Lol (I am so I can) In my lake I fear it will attract too many northerns though

Posts: 1207 Location: Pigeon Forge TN. | Hey Mike, Now THAT is a "Brain Fart" Feels good doesn't it, Cause the pic shown is what will happen when I hit them with it. When the Clear Coat goes on it will really bring out the clarity. I think I will introduce my new patterns with this stuff and call them the "Sonic" this and that. Such as "Sonic Firetiger" etc, etc. Whatcha think about that? (Brain is still Farting) In fact, I think I will just put a thin light black back on this one and call it the "Sonic Brain Fart" ( maybe) Edited by Stan Durst 1 5/11/2011 3:18 PM

Sounds good, you may want to brain fart a few more adjectives relating to light, but I’m no marketing man. I do know this though, if you put “rainbow” in front of the pattern names, like “rainbow sucker”, people may wonder… How’s “MultiChrome Marauder”?
