Below is from the St. Croix website.

Depending on what guide is screwed up you may not have to send it to them at all. Srvice is great and they move things quickly.

WARRANTY AND SERVICE POLICY
St. Croix fishing rods are carefully crafted and individually inspected to assure that the highest quality standards are met. However, should failure occur due to defects in materials or workmanship, the rod will be repaired or replaced (at St. Croix's option) for no charge during the warranty period. It is very important to note that most warranty failures occur within the first few uses. Failure after extensive use is more likely caused by outside influence rather than defective materials or workmanship.

St. Croix's Legend® Ultra®, Avid™, Imperial and Pro Graphite fly rods feature our unconditional lifetime warranty. Legend® Elite™ and Avid casting and spinning rods feature our limited lifetime warranty. Premier Graphite, Pro-Glass®, Wild River™, Ben Doerr Surf System, Ben Doerr Elite, Tidemaster®, Classic Cat and Premier Saltwater rods all carry a two-year warranty. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only.

All warranty claims must be made directly to the factory by the consumer. St. Croix dealers are not authorized to perform warranty service on behalf of the factory. Also, rods repaired else- where will void this warranty. Rods should be properly packaged and insured. A copy of the warranty tag, store receipt showing date of purchase and $10.00 for return shipping and handling should accompany all claims.

Ship rods to:

Park Falls, Wisconsin 54552

Rods with expired warranties, or rods that have been damaged due to accident, misuse, or normal wear, are not covered under this warranty. Also, this warranty is void if the recommended line rating for the rod is exceeded.

Rods that are not covered under warranty may be repaired or replaced for a reasonable charge. St. Croix will advise you of the cost of repair or replacement and await your approval prior to proceeding.

This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the rod only and does not cover consequential or incidental damages. St. Croix shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages.

If it's a premere it's one year I believe and an avid is life time. I have sent in 3 rods to st. croix, two under warrantee and one not for repair. No hassles, no problems, fast turnaround and they don't break it off with non-warantee stuff. You can't beat their service.[]

I had the guides replaced on my 5 year old st. croix premere this year. 40 bucks. Try and buy a good rod for that. Good as new.

0723,
The Premiers have a standard 2 year warranty, unless it was one of my seconds which only has a 1 year. Either way, it's pretty cheap for us to take care of. Send 'er up, but call ahead and you can get all the info necessary.

Steve,
I hope you cut and pasted all that instead of typed it all!!
