I just discovered that MagD's are awesome for High Speed trolling. The narrow shaped forehead together with the fins, keep the D'd from kipping or rolling. Amazing how fast fish will move after these baits when trolled fast.

We used a Minn Kota trolling motor on full speed, in a 14 feet boat, but I don't know exactly how fast it was. I was standing up in the boat occasionally and could actually see the fish strike as the baits was running just below the surface, lot of fun

I love to do that, i find they are more effective that way. I normally use a regular, and rip it fast, because I think faster moving baits, creates more quality strikes as you don't give the fish so much time to study the bait.
