what type of adhesive/epoxy should be used so the signal isnt interfered with - i removed my old lowrance transducer that was installed in the hull and went to a newer unit- would like to place in the same location as Im already putting another ducer off the transom of the boat any help/suggestions appreciated

Martin,

Lowrance actually sells epoxy in their accessories store through LEI. But I honestly dont think it matters. If you buy some marine grade epoxy from any boat supply store, it should work fine.

Thanks Chad- have you done this and know for sure? I do have some 10 min set time super strength clear epoxy I was thinking about using just thought Id get another opinion before I use it and then have to remove because its not getting a good "ping"

i've used basic 2-part epoxy on 4 different boats. worked fine every time.
