PIKEMASTER, what are the size of gears on 7000iC3s, 7000iHSNs, et cetera. I have an old C3 and I like it for 10s. Just wondering what components it has and how other models compare.

The ABU 7000 reels will not take alot of reeling in of DCG10-13, they are fine for ripping Dawgs or large plastic. The Gears are not very tall maybe 32mm but are very thick, but the pinions gears are on the small side.

Do you think the 4:7.1 PQ gears will last longer and pull easier?
