The attachment is of my fishing partner, Roger "Fishing Hero" Hudy, with a Tiger Musky he CPR'd on Saturday, September 14, 2002.

Due to the drought we have been having here in Maryland, our lake was drawn down considerably and is exposing treetops and mudflats. During the previous week, Roger found (actually hooked") a rod and reel combo and recovered numerous crankbaits attached to (now) exposed trees in the lake. Roger "cleaned" them up and went fishing with me that day.

After dragging the small jonboat over a 100' mudflat (actually Roger did it while I watched - thanks to my knee injury!), we proceeded to the upper end of the lake and targeted Tigers underneath the "dimples" of a baitschool.

Roger took out his new found rod and reel combo (a real piece of crap valued at $5.00 Canadian!), put on one of the dozen crankbaits (worth about 10 cents each!) that he had found, and casted it out.

On the first cast, Roger hooked a beautiful (see attachment) Little Seneca Lake Tiger Muskie. I quickly Boga'd the fish (note horizontal hold) for him, photographed him with it, and sat there humiliated for the rest of my fishless day!!!

Whad'ya think of this guy? []

You are looking at this all wrong.
Great guiding work!

Nice fish, too. Hope you are going to get some rain from the front out there in the next couple days.[]

Thanks, the bright spot is that when Roger found all of those crankbaits (we know who they belong to!), we have now discovered the secret fishing spots on the lake of one of the better fishing experts on the lake! Of course, he won't get any of his cranbaits back without paying dearly for them! (actually, I helped Roger recover a lot of them, but the cheapskate wouldn't give me any because I was in his boat).

Figures doesn't it![;)] We got a lake down 32' + they won't allow even a canoe in it. I can see now I need to make a road trip! Take a camera + get some photos of all the structure etc in the RARE event the eastern seaboard gets some rain in the future...meanwhile get back out there + find some more STUFF! [:sun:]

We got a little tropical storm water but most of it is east of us...seems like every drop is heading toward the BAY!

Yet another case of "it's better to be lucky than good".

Yeah, but I don't fish there!!! Hopefully, multiple storms will take care of all of us. Take care!
