Posts: 642 Location: Richfield, MN | I am hoping that someone local or even out of state has a couple of Cabela coupons that they are not going to be using. I am getting ready to spend a crap load of money on batteries and really could use a couple of them to help save some money. I would like to get a hold of at least 2 of as I will be buying other things as well and I know my bill will go over $1000 by the time I am done with batteries and some towable items for the family to use when I am not fishing. Let me what you have and where you are from. If local I am willing to swing by and pick it up. Thanks Mike

Posts: 3242 Location: Racine, Wi | Do a search for Cabelas coupons on the web. I did the same thing when getting new batteries this year. Between the coupon, sale, and a gift card, I was able to get a new winch for the trailer and an agm 31 series battery for nothing. :). If there are none out there, I would watch closely with spring coming up as I bet they'd have some going soon.

| Save some coin and get a few batteries from Fleet Farm or someplace like that. I don't understand why people need to have the best of the best of everything. Buy something you can afford. At less than $100 a battery and periodic charging and proper winter care mine have lasted 4 1/2 years so far. It sounds like you are looking to buy three Optimas which is great if you've got money to burn, but begging for coupons makes me think that is not the case. | |||

I've gone with less then the 31 series the past few years and have been having issues with my batteries not having enough juice to start the main engines with all the electronics, lights, etc running at night (and even during the day at times). Bumped up to the 31 series this year after feedback from others that they can run all of their electronics and not have any issues. Haven't had a chance to run it yet, but if it solves my problems, it seems to be a good investment.

Just figured I am going to be spending some money on batteries and I figure that a crap load of coupons that Cabelas sends out do not get used and figured if someone has any they are not going to use I would love to have them. I actuall have $1000 set aside for batteries but from I have learned in the last couple weeks and talking to some guides at the MN Expo I have been given other options other than spending $300 a battery. So i am looking at that as well. But no matter what I will be spending well over $500 on other things at Cabelas in the next 3-4 weeks so if i can save i would love to. If I can't oh well. By the way "not signed in" why not sign in instead of hiding under a anon name. Way too many people do that on this site. Actually more than any other sites that I am on. Not sure why people have to hide who they are. They must be afraid to speak there mine and actually have people know who they are!!!!

Since going to a series 31 battery I won't go back to anything but.
