Where I live we have some types of wasps, small mudd dobbers, who seem to love laying eggs in/on my 15hp motor. Those little buggers will fill any hole smaller than about 1/4" with mud. Some of the holes are parts of the cooling system, but most are just subsurface set screws and such. Still, I have to take a piece of wire and clean out the holes all summer long.

Got bugs? Check yer holes.
