Can the Livid Fish be effectively fished in the weeds? I like the way it looks in the YouTube video. I'd like to fish it over submerged weeds, jerking it down into the weeds like a Suick, and then letting it float back out.

I'll be the first to tell you that this is not a weedless lure.  However, you can--depending on the weed density--work the lure down into foliage and have it emerge much of the time, free of weeds.  The action and the "nose down" look of the lure does help shed some of the salad.
