| What do you guys think about a live release registry , would it be possible or would there be to many contraversies I would propose a pic with length measurement and a pic held firmly against your body , thoughts ???? |

| I'm confused? A what?
Aside from that, why would you hold it against your body. Their slime is protective, and does them more good on them than on your clothes..
Yeah it happens, some larger/heavier fish inevitably will rub against you... But I wouldn't do it on purpose.

| good point Jason , perhaps firmly is a bad choice of a word , closely to your body without removing protective slime would be better , I try to make sure that any part of me that will come in contact with the fish is wet , we always have a wet towel on hand to rest the fish on , and i always wet my gloves before removing a fish from the net , as to your first question , a central registry would serve several purposes One would be to track the growth of large fish caught across all areas fished ,Two it would give anglers a place to put their name for postairity, Three with the introduction of the new Modern day world record it would give Anglers a choice , do you harvest a 60 lb fish for the recognition or do you register it as live release and recieve cudo's for your acomplishment Thanks for your feedback Bill
