I seen the Lindners using this bait on one of the shows and it looked like it had good sub-surface walk-the-dog action. Was curious if others have used it and what your thought are on it? Pro's, cons? Thanks a ton fellers.

Posts: 20229 Location: oswego, il | The sub walk rides really high in the water column, often times skimming the surface and has a nice side to side glide. Pretty easy to work but like any small glider use a lighter leader.

Posts: 909 Location: South-Central VA | I love the subwalk and plan to have a box full of them. They are easy to walk and they work well with a leader (at least the 6" ones do, can't say the same for the smaller ones). jeremy

Posts: 20229 Location: oswego, il | A lighter pound test. Straight wire will work best but flouro does too. 105 or 124lb straight wire. Heavy wire can affect lighter and smaller glidebaits and touchier to work ones as well. It upsets the balance of the bait and can make them harde to work. You will like this bait if you get it, I wish they made an 8" long model.

Posts: 61 | i really love the subwalk15. have had good luck on it, but consider the glide to be more suble than other jerkbaits. (ie a hellhound). also doesnt count down at all. i go to it for shallow water when i want a more suble, passive looking bait. works great in the right situation. just bought a orange/gold/orange one on ebay and am way psyched for it. didnt know they even made that color. also want to comment on the gliden rap. awesome!! that was my goto smaller jerkbait for 2010. much more aggressive presentation, and seemed to just be what they wanted last year. both excellent products. wish the glidinraps had larger color selection though.... both do require a light leader to get good action.

Posts: 4080 Location: Elko - Lake Vermilion | Haven't used the Subwalk, but the Gliderap is a fish catching little lure. I have 2 of each colors (6" ones) and I agree that they need to make more colors.....When twitched erratically they are deadly, especially on the pause good springtime lure. Jerome

But I agree with the guy earlier that said they should make bigger ones. Rapala never really makes any big tackle. I've caught a lot more pike on mine than muskies, some even as small as 10 or 12 inches. An 8" or even 10" would be awesome.

I have SubWalks and Glidin' Raps, but I don't think either of them have rattles. I could be wrong.
