| Well folks, I found a winner. I talked to Crash Mullins at the Chicago Musky show about his new rods. I needed to pick up an additional rod and I was planning on picking up another $340 rod as I always try to use the best as long as I can afford it. I had a long conversation with Crash about his new rod and I ended up getting Crashes new blade rod, brought it home and began testing it. I clamped it up on my bench beside my $340 rod and started checking defection under load and found no difference. Balance point was the same on both. Weight was the same. Casting and hookset were the same. To sum it up, Crashes new rods are awesome and at a price point that affordable. So I highly recommend Crash's new rod. Pick one up, you will really like it and save some money at the same time. I will also add that it is one of the best looking rods out there. They are called "Bluegrass Fishing Rods".
Good luck to all in the upcoming season and may you all catch your personal best.
