I noticed the Tyrant rods mentioned here. Never heard of them before this post. Not trying to step on any toes, but aren't they the same thing as the Tackle Industries rods? Looked at the Tyrant website and they appear to be the same thing, pretty much right down to the description. I'm guessing they worked a deal out with Tackle Industries? Just curious if anybody knows any news.

My understanding from James is that he makes rods for other companies and the Tyrant rods are made by him too, through Tackle Industries.
