| Heading up to Andy Myer's again in a few weeks, looking to potentially change some tactics for this year....here's the quandry though; luckily Ms. Slamr goes with to Canada everyear, real trooper to put up with me and HAVING to go to Canada every year instead of the Bahamas, but Ms. Slamr fishes when she wants to, and relaxes and reads or just lays out in the bikini the rest of the time....which is a lot of the time!!! IE. I'm going to basically SOLO HUNTING a great majority of the time.....so the question comes in is on a lake with that much structure (Eagle Lake) and spots that nearly ALL look good, but with only one bait in the water do you: a. work each spot meticulously, figuring that you can lure out any fish, hot or cold....OR b. work the run-n-gun approach to cover as much water as possible. This is my 4th year there, so I know a dozen or so good spots, but they aren't your small 30yard or less WI spots, we're talking 100+ yards of a nice weed bed or rock pile....but going slow you couldn't cover too much water, get my drift???
Fast or slow, that is the question....open to any pro with a suggestion...
