Random quote: A couple of young fellers were fishing at their special pond off the beaten track when out of the bushes jumped the Game Warden. Immediately, one of the boys threw his rod down and started running through the woods like a bat out of hell, and hot on his heels came the Game Warden.

How did it run after the E-tex? I did one with foil and glass eyes that I put maybe 4 coats or so on, and it got a bit heavier. Turns out that was a good thing. I feel it has better hang time, is more erratic and obviously looks better than the original. It's my favorite early season twitch bait now.

I have several shallow raiders the Tyler has repainted for me and they work fine with the topcoat on them. I know it adds some weight but the baits action still looks good so unless you were to put it on very heavy you should be OK.
