Location: Sw Pennsylvania | Anyone have the opportunity to use one? I'm curious how they actually work and looking for some feedback before dropping the ball on the new unit. |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | I used it a little when I was in some of the Lowrance Technician's boat this late fall and I really liked what I saw. Your not going to get much feedback on this unit right now since it was just released at ICast in July and won't be available until sometime this spring.

| I had an engineering sample last fall....... Super great detail and the retail price on this is going to be 650 with the GPS 550 for sonar only and 300 for the Mark which is mono chrome
The color is my favorite but you can't turn your nose at a mono chrome display that gets you the same imagery.....buy what you can afford......
Here are some images from the Elite 5 DSI

| I am curious - only problem I see with it is I hear it only produces really good readable images at around 3 - 4 miles an hour, making it less effective on the bow and maybe more useful at the console for trolling... just speculating.
