Hey guys,

Looking at getting a couple of chips for my 898si Hummingbird. Noticed the make a couple of varations of the Navionics chip. Anyone use both and prefer one? There is roughly a $50 dif between the Premium and Platinum which isn't really any issue just looking to hear what you guys think.

Thanks

I have the platinum '10. The top down satellite imagery is pretty neat. When your on the water it gives you landmarks you can look off of and you can see what's beyond the shoreline. The 3d view is kind of a joke and I really don't see much value in the points of interest pictures. If were going to buy another one I would probably save $50 and buy the premium. I have hds units so I am assuming the features are the same for both.
