How much pulling resistance is there for a Trinidad when using 10s/13s? They have a 6.2:1 gear ratio, so I assume they would pull harder than a reel with a 4.1:1 ratio. Is that true?

that is a high ratio for D10/13.
You sure you wanna put the reel through that? or is this a theoretical Q

There is no finer reel for pulling double 10's and 13's than a Trinidad 16N. Spooled at about 2/3 capacity to minimize backlashes your still pulling in around 40 inches per crank. The resitance felt is directly related to how fast you are reeling. The gearing is such you can burn big blades all day without the fatigue associated with other reels if the reel is paired with a rod that can handle 10's & 13's.

There is more pull but much less work if that makes any sense. Your rod hand needs to hold on tighter and it's harder to reel but your arm doesn't feel like rubber from cranking as fast as you can
