Location: Nordeast Minneapolis | Does anyone know of any other options for giant twister tails, other than Kalins? Particularly the large tails... the 6" aren't that expensive, but the big ones are, what, $3 a piece? And most of the plastic is in the giant grub body, that I don't particularly care for or about. I'm mostly interested in tails to put on the back of bucktails, and on the back of some of my basement cranks/jerkbaits. I've done some home-made twister tails that have worked fairly well, but since my fiance moved in my lure-building time has decreased significantly, and I'm trying to refocus my lure building efforts on things that I really enjoy. Soft plastic casting is only sort of fun. I'll keep doing it if I can't find another option, but I guess I'd rather just spend a dollar and get something pre-made.
Thanks for any suggestions!
(closed circuit to James- any possibility of a Tackle Industries line of twister tails any time soon??? ) |

Location: SE, WI. | My BAT's is what I have been using for 2 years running. Here is a pic attached to my custom spinners. This spinnerbait is about 13" long, and will stretch to 16" when pulled. The split tail trailers are 5 1/8" closed, and about 7" pulled through the water. Big fish are liking this big split tail!.. ........BAT.......Big A$$ Trailer!
