Just wondering if anyone will attempt to have another Big Dollar muskie tourney like Bob M. had a few yrs ago.?.....
$2,000.-$2,500. entry fee to win $80,000-$100,000. isn't a bad payoff.
Would anyone around here be interested ?

For, or Against it ? and why ?

If a sponsor covered my entry fee...you bet. That is about the only way I could enter something like this and economy has nothing to do with it. Fixed salaried income...

Just not enough money expendable to make that type of tournament happen for me without help...

I'd love to try, though...

the WMT/Pro-MAC model is more realistic, imho. they're promising a Championship with a $100k payout in 2012 for teams that qualify by fishing in 2011 and 2012. that keeps the entry fees more attainable. now if they'd switch to a photo-release or judge boat format instead of transport, they'd really be onto something...
