Location: Des Moines IA | How far south is the Ice? Rhinelander apparently has some ice covered lakes. We just had a 5 minute hail/sleet/snow barrage here in Des Moines, Iowa, but the lakes are still open. |

Location: Rhinelander, WI | There's ice forming in some of the bays on area lakes. This weekend Jennie Webber Lake, just north of town, had pretty good ice coverage. Still nothing firm enough to venture out on.

Location: Victoria,MN | The Seton Lake area on Minnetonka looked to be froze over and there was some forming in other protected areas.
Also some preety good sized white caps rolling in the big lake. |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | It's over with in the Rhinelander area except for the east landing on Pelican. It was wide open for as far as I could see on the main lake, but all the bays were locked up solid tonight. Temps in the single digit should take care of Pelican tonight or tomorrow if the winds settle down. |

Location: Rhinelander, WI | Cresent and Squash outside of Rhinelander both have ice, haven't seen anyone brave or stupid enough to try fishing them yet. |
