I own a 640c and was having some problems using it with a Lakemaster Wi. chip [051-2921-00].The chip works fine in my ifinder expidition and friends 522. Called lawrance. Was told unit accepts up to a one GB chip. My Question is does anyone here know how many GB this model chip is?

Generally, if it has the MicroSD card in the SD card, it's not going to work. If you really want a card for the unit, I would try to trade with someone or find one on ebay that is the full SD card (without the pop out msd).
