hello everyone in interwebland- wondering how the weather and fishing has been up in the northern vilas co. area- i curious to see if im going to be ice breaking to fish for the close of the season- if anyone has any info it would be greatly appretiated! thanks in advance-

Not sure about Vilas but most lakes in Price frozen over.

Some of the landings on smaller lakes were locking up over the weekend. This cold streak we are having now should finish them off. You will probably be able to get on to largest, deepest lakes in the area. Water temps were in the 39 - 41 range for the big lakes.
